Additive technologies for the production of glass products
- Basic and applied research in the field of additive manufacturing technologies from glass (so-called 3D printing of glass).
- Basic and applied research of the micro-melting of glass batches and the principles of heating micro to nano batches at softening to melting temperatures. Study of the dependence of the change of the boundary conditions on the resulting batch properties.
- Research and development of experimental equipment to support basic research in this area.
New materials and machines for their production
- New materials obtained based on basic research (e.g., porous glass plasticine).
- Study of the physical and chemical properties of these materials.
