12th International Conference on Glass Producing Machines

Introduction (FINAL ANNOUNCEMENT)

The International Conference on Glass Producing Machines is a traditional conference which is held once every three years in the town of Liberec. The Czech Glass Society and the Department of Glass and Ceramic Producing Machines at the Technical University of Liberec cordially invite you to participate in the 12th International Conference on Glass Producing Machines held on September 19 - 20, 2006.

The conference is focused on the exchange of knowledge and experience about the development and application of glass processing machines, automatic production lines, constructive modulus, components of production machines and processing plants as well as handling equipment and peripheries.
The conference aims to acquaint technically - minded members of the public with activities, problems and perspectives of producers and users of glass producing machines.
Company's presentations of glass production machinery, machine parts, software production and other services for the glass industry will also be a part of the conference.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
All registered participants are invited to a dinner party for participants of the conference and Department of Glass and Ceramic Producing Machines graduates at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 19. The party will take place at Divadelní klub Jimm’s (Theatre Club, F. X. Šalda Theatre).

INFORMATION ON CONTRIBUTIONS
The presentation time for papers is 15 - 25 minutes (which will be determined by the conference chairman) with the exception of invited lectures, whose length will be 40 minutes.
The presentation room is supplied with an LCD projector, a computer with DVD, an overhead projector and a video cassette player recorder (PAL system). If you require any additional equipment, don't hesitate to contact us.

INFORMATION FOR EXHIBITORS
Panels 0.95 m wide and 1.7 m high and desks are available for exhibitors. They are located in the anteroom of the lecture hall. Displays can be installed on September 19, 2006 between 8:00 and 9:00.
It is possible to order additional company presentations or publicity pages in the proceedings until July 30, 2006.

The official language of the conference is Czech, Slovak and English.

LOCATION

The conference will be held in the Campus of the Technical University of Liberec in the great hall of the building "M" at Harcov (see attached key map).

Access Way

The nearest international airport is in Prague (Praha-Ruzyně, 120 km). The town can be easily reached by the highway from Prague. From the town centre, it is possible to reach the Conference venue by bus No. 15 or 29 in direction to Harcov, bus stop "Přehrada" (approx. 20 min). Parking is possible in front of the building "M".
